Longest title ever! But hey, I’ve got a lot to talk about today!
First, and foremost…Happy New Year! I think it’s gonna be a good one for all of us! I wish you all health, wealth, happiness, and success in all your ventures!
Now let’s get down to business!
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be discussing the new year when you head back to school {which for us is TOMORROW!!!! I know, I know…GET OUT OF TOWN!!}
My class will be making this cute craftivity and completing my New Year’s mini-book to help ring in the new year!
It’s easy and it’s on sale. {What a perfect pair!} Click the picture to grab it from TpT!
I’m also linking up with Farley {and HUNDREDS of other bloggers} for January’s Currently! Seriously, when I read Farley’spost, she already had over 140 bloggers link up…and it’s only January 1st!!
Allow me to elaborate…
Listening: I grew up listening to my Dad’s mix of CDs every Sunday morning…it’s a tradition he still has to this day, only he’s upgraded to iTunes, and no lie, thousands of songs. I love carrying on the tradition in my own home {even if his music collection trumps mine}.
Loving: I made apple dumplings using Trisha Yearwood’s recipe from her Food Network show. Easy Peasy and so, so, so delicious. Grab the recipe here. {After reading the reviews, I adjusted the sugar to 1/8 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. They were just sweet enough}
Thinking: My parents went in on a dslr camera for Dave and I!! Time to read up on all those tips I pinned! And we won’t be taking our Christmas tree down until I perfect bokeh. Cross your fingers for me that our tree won’t be up till April!
Wanting: I said it above…we go back TOMORROW!! After reading most of your blogs, I see that we’re definitely in the minority…and I am super jealous! I am sooo not ready to go back to work. Wasn’t it just Christmas?
Needing: My neck is K I L L I N G me…I think a massage would really help {Dave are you reading this?}
OLW: I chose relax because I need to learn how to relax my MIND. My brain is seriously go, go, go 24/7. I really need to learn how to let things go, be easier on myself, and not plan things out every second of every day. It’s going to be a challenge, but I’m determined :)
Click the button below to go link up! I love reading everyone’s answers!
And of course, a GIVEAWAY REMINDER!
I’m giving away 4 items from our TpT store. Each item is paired perfectly with a children’s book! Please stop by and enter, and please share the giveaway! Click the picture to head over and enter!
Happy New Year Friends!

Yum! Apple dumplings sound amazing! I have a new DSLR, too! Well, it's a hand-me-down from my dad because he got a new one. I took some photo classes in college, but I think I'm going to have to read DSLR's for Dummies... no joke, it's sitting right next to me! We go back on Thursday, but I would have LOVED to have the rest of the week off... blah! Hope your first day back goes well!
