Sorry this pin is so obnoxiously long. I am not a fan of long pins. I am a fan of lipstick. And Nordstrom, Ulta, and Sephora are fans of my wallet, so I was excited to come across this pin so I can give Target and Walgreens some of my money instead!

Favorite Pins Friday 7-5-13

Ok, so why didn’t I think of this awesome linky? I’ve showed off my favorite pins before but I never thought to take it the Linky Level.  I guess that’s just another reason Cara totally rocks!

Here are some of my favorite recent pins:



I’m really hoping to do some sort of guided math this year, and this post by The Down Under Teacher is totally inspiring and incredibly helpful!



I love to make anchor charts so I have about a half dozen of these charts in various sizes strategically hidden all over my classroom.  I love this storage idea from Grade School Giggles.  So much cuter and more organized.



I love, love, love these printables for Back to School and they’re FREE! Primary Junction always has such adorable stuff :)

We {finally} bought a house so a lot of my pins have been home inspired…especially the kitchen….



I love white kitchens with farm house sinks, open/glass front shelving, and butcher block countertops.  Most of my kitchen pins are a variation on this one.  How cozy is this kitchen?

I’m gonna need to cook something in my Pinspired kitchen.  This salad looks delicious and screams summer!

I’m a sucker for cute animal pins.

And this pin just makes me laugh.  You can never trust vodka.

It was hard to pick {I’m a pinning addict}, but these are my favorite pins from the last few days {yes, the addiction is that bad!}

Going Back Into My {Pinterest} Closet

With school winding down...slowly...I'm already thinking ahead to next year, like most of you.


This may also have something to do with the fact that I am starting in a new room next year for the 5th time in 5 years. Yes. Gulp.  That's another rant post.


In anticipation of next year, I've been going through my closet.  My Pinterest closet that is.  I pin so frequently and fervently that I totally forget what I pin. {This may be the reason I have pinned about 26 different recipes for baked zucchini, or the same writing activity 3 times}.


Here are some favorites {educational and not} from the back of my Pinterest closet {meaning I pinned them a long time ago}


Teacher Stuff:


1} I totally meant to do this to my boring, old, rocker last year, but we'll see if I can make it work this year. This teacher is super-crafty.

2} I love this magazine display.  It's super-organized, and displays the magazines so that the students can easily find the one they want.  It might be a cool way to show their writing portfolios as well.

3} This picture is just pure inspiration for how organized I'd like my classroom to be.

4} I love this as a bonus bulletin board {something I'll need moving to a smaller room}

Recipes:


1} These just look delicious.

2} I pinned these corn cakes 3 times. Oops.  I love Annie's Eats.  Her recipes always turn out tasty.

3} I have a whole board dedicated to the sweet stuff, like this blueberry cake.

4} These "cookies" were one of my very first pins... forever ago. Haven't made them...yet.
